OUR HISTORY
The STEAM Innovation and Entrepreneurship Championship is a flagship academic competition founded by Ing Moses Joseph Lappia, as an upgrade to The National Science and Mathematics Quiz – founded by Hoody Abdul Ballah Kargbo.
It was conceived as a strategic response to the growing need to strengthen STEM education in the country, established with the belief that science and mathematics are vital tools for national progress. It is a 6 months long championship where 50+ schools compete nationally for the chance to be the Brain of Sierra Leone.
OUR PURPOSE
The STEAM Innovation and Entrepreneurship Championship is designed to create a platform where students can showcase their knowledge, creativity, and problem-solving skills in the fields of science and mathematics.

To become the premier academic competition in Sierra Leone, inspiring a culture of excellence in STEM education and creating a generation of innovators and problem-solvers.
We aspire to build a national community of young STEM leaders to drive scientific research, technological advancement, and sustainable development.

Promote STEM Education
